During 12 years of providing neurofeedback in Ireland, many clients have been parents seeking to support their child’s/teenager’s learning performance.
Does it actually help?
The subjective data and academic research strongly suggest it does.
There are so many reasons why children struggle to learn these days including too much screen time, issues such as ADHD, the effects of diet and sugary drinks, STRESS, too little sleep, poor motivation etc.
At Neurofeedback Ireland we always look at the bigger picture of what is interfering with a child’s ability to learn.
We provide general and specific advice including when necessary teaching learning devices such as mind mapping. And if we think it will be useful we suggest neurofeedback sessions.
With this integrative approach, we see changes.
We have seen struggling children go on to get amazing Leaving Cert results, we have seen ADHD children regain their focus and motivation, we have especially seen dyslexic children overcome many of their difficulties whilst retaining the gifts of dyslexia.
